Suicide Prevention Month

If you think they're in immediate danger

In the U.S., call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. You can contact them yourself on behalf of a friend or family member for guidance.

If the person has already attempted suicide, has an immediate plan and intent, or is in immediate physical danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
